TOO LOW THEY BUILD
WHO BUILD BENEATH THE STARS..
These words were on a bronze plaque on the landing between the two levels
of stairs...going to the high school floor.
I've never forgotten them...
Greg DeMatio (Class of 1966), who teaches there, tells me the
plaque is still there. I wonder how many others remember reading that...and will continue to remember it..as the years go
by...It's food for thought.
A note from LuAnn Zettle, President of
the Ogemaw County Genealogical & Historical Society..
